Be Involved Devon - Who is it for?

Be Involved Devon is for anyone in Devon* with an interest in shaping mental health and wellbeing services.

BID - for people wanting to be involved and for organisations wanting to involve people

BID wants to hear from you if:

  • You have an interest in mental health, recovery and wellbeing
  • You have lived experience of mental health issues
  • You use or have used mental health and wellbeing services
  • You plan or provide mental health and wellbeing services
  • All or some of the above!

* BID covers the area of Devon serviced by Devon County Council and therefore doesn’t include Torbay or Plymouth. (See useful contacts in BID leaflet for involvement services in these areas).

What does being involved mean?

Sharing your views and experiences where it counts, about what helps and matters to you. Helping to shape decisions about mental health care.

There are many ways to be involved, for example, taking part in:

  • Surveys
  • Planning Groups
  • Meetings
  • Staff Training
  • Staff Recruitment
